SIMMONS FIRST PROMOTES CATHY ROPER AND GLENDA DEAN

Pine Bluff, AR - - Simmons First Trust Company, N.A. announces the promotions of Cathy M. Roper to vice president and Glenda L. Dean to assistant vice president according to J. Thomas May, chairman and chief executive officer of Simmons First National Corporation.
Roper has been associated with Simmons First for 24 years, attended the University of Central Arkansas and received her associate degree in Banking & Finance from Southeast Arkansas College.
She is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and has completed the Cannon Trust School.
Roper has completed over 20 bank related courses and is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society, Special Olympics, United Way of Southeast Arkansas and chairs the Leadership Pine Bluff Alumni Board of Directors.
Dean, a Certified Corporate Trust Specialist, has been with Simmons First for 25 years and attended Henderson State University.
She has completed 28 banking courses and is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Corporate Trust School.
Dean is a volunteer for the United Way of Southeast Arkansas, on the board of directors for Voices for Children, Pine Bluff Rotary and Leadership Pine Bluff Alumni and on the Capital Campaign Steering Committee for the CASA Women’s Shelter.
